Ever since Maanayata Dutt posted a sneak peek into actor Sanjay Dutt’s home last week, fans have been buzzing—not about the interiors but one of the rarest sound systems ever created. Sitting pretty in the corner of Dutt Sahab’s living room is none other than the Ferrari Art. Engine .
The Ferrari Art. Engine is a limited-edition luxury speaker created by none other than Ferrari Automobiles in partnership with David Wiener Ventures. Taking inspiration from Ferrari styling cues for its exquisite design, the Art. Engine is a premium sound system disguised as a sculptural piece of art.
The Art. Engine takes the shape of a floor-standing tower measuring close to 47 inches in height. It features carbon- fibre speaker cones as well as Ferrari-inspired cooling ducts finished off with an engine start-style power button and wireless music streaming capabilities. The speaker also houses 18 speaker drivers, four 200-watt digital amplifiers and digital signal processing (DSP) to give you a frequency response ranging from 40Hz to 20kHz so you can enjoy crystal clear room-filling audio from your favourite tracks.
Ferrari Art. Engine Price in India
In total, Ferrari built and released just 1,000 pairs of the Art. Engine luxury speakers worldwide. In India, each Ferrari Art. Engine pair would have retailed for roughly ₹17–18 lakh at launch before accounting for taxes and custom duty, having originally launched at US$20,000. Prices today can vary since the speaker has been discontinued, so your price will depend on availability when you find one resale.
Where To Buy It
The Art. Engine is officially discontinued, meaning it is not available for purchase through traditional retailers. If you manage to find one available for sale, you’ll likely have to arrange international shipping from a luxury audio provider, collector network or high-end auction house. Beware that shipping to India will increase the price drastically due to import charges.
Alternatives You Can Buy in India
While the Art. Engine would be a dream addition to any music lover’s collection, many other luxury alternatives are available if you’re looking for something that’s readily available in India.
